19 Moygannon Road, Warrenpoint, Newry, Co Down, BT34 3QJ

This is a small, vernacular house, plainly detailed and with few alterations. Likely dating to between 1880 and 1899, it is located up a lane on the eastern side of Moygannon Road, with its front elevation facing west. The house has a pitched natural slate roof, with a tiled skew to the north gable and a rendered brick skew to the south. Rendered and painted chimneys are present on both gables. The walls are painted with smooth cement render, featuring flush eaves and without rainwater goods. Several slates are missing from the right bay.

A lean-to windbreak porch is situated on the right side of the left bay, providing shelter for the main entrance. The porch has a shallow cat-slide roof that ties into the main roofline and walls matching the facade. A 20th-century painted timber panelled door with glazed top panes leads into the house. A four-pane, box sash window is exposed on the left side, and a similar window is in the right bay. The left gable is blank, while the rear elevation contains a single boarded-up window in each bay. The right gable is also blank and adjoins a small, corrugated metal-roofed latrine lean-to with a tongue-and-groove sheeted door.

The house first appears on Ordnance Survey maps from 1901-1902. The property sits within a yard to the front, with a small, unremarkable outbuilding on the south side. To the rear is a field. The house was recorded as derelict.
