Subsequent residents included Elizabeth E. Mahood, and the property was briefly occupied by the ‘Girls Friendly Society’ in 1901. By 1906, the house had been renamed ‘Windermere’. Further occupants included Margaret Weir, Theodore Livingstone, [?J.] McCartan, Henrietta Robinson, John and Julia Loverock, Mary Best (tenant in 1936, leasing from Gertrude Hinds), Eileen Hussey de Burgh, and the ‘Abbeyfield Newry & District Society Ltd.’ The property was vacant by 1972.
