Tullaghoge Bridge, Sessiagh Road, Sessia, Co Tyrone

Tullaghoge Bridge is a well-proportioned railway bridge dating to the later nineteenth century, specifically constructed between 1860 and 1879. It served the former railway line connecting Cookstown and Dungannon, and it is a notable feature of the surviving infrastructure associated with the Grand Northern Railway (GNR) network in the area.

The bridge is a single-arch road bridge built of squared stone, originally spanning the railway track. It has rock-faced squared stone walls with irregular stone capping, and rock-faced stone to the arch soffit. The elliptical-headed arch is formed with cut-stone voussoirs and dressings. The bridge is approximately 6 metres in width. It was built as part of the Dungannon and Cookstown Railway, which opened in July 1879, ceased operating for passengers in January 1956, and closed entirely in January 1965. The bridge's construction aligns with the railway's primary build period (c.1876-79). It possesses industrial archaeological interest.
