Description

Detached bathing house, built c.1800, located on Seapark estate to south-east of Seapark House (HB22/07/011A). Circular-on-plan. Roof is flat (cannot be seen in detail) behind crenellated parapet. Walls are roughly coursed rubble; projecting string course above openings. Window openings are pointed-arched-headed with rubble voussoirs. Window openings located to north, east and south; pointed-arched-headed entrance opening to west; square-headed vertically sheeted timber door with solid transom surmounted by rubble voussoirs. Stonemason’s mark on south side of bathing house. Set within Seapark estate on rocky outcroft to east in Belfast Lough; boathouse (HB22/07/011D) immediately to north.
