Detached three-bay one and a half storey rendered house, built c.1900, possibly incorporating earlier fabric. Rectangular on plan facing south with single-storey rendered extension to rear. Located on the north side of Lurgan Road close to the village of Aghalee within its own small plot. Pitched natural slate roof with clay ridge tiles and pair of redbrick chimneystacks to either gable end. Cast-iron guttering on iron brackets to rendered eaves course and cast-iron downpipes. Painted smooth rendered walling with projecting plinth course to front elevation, rough-cast rendered to remaining elevations. Square-headed window openings with painted concrete sills and timber sash windows with exposed sash boxes. Asymmetrical front elevation is three windows wide with an off-centre square-headed door opening all having lugged smooth render surrounds and horizontally-glazed 2/2 timber sash windows. Replacement timber glazed door opening onto short gravel drive. West gable has a randomly-placed square-headed window opening to each floor with smooth render surrounds and timber casement windows. Rear elevation abutted by a single-storey extension to the south with shallow pitched corrugated asbestos roof and steel casement window to the south cheek. The north end is abutted by a rendered shed having single-pitched corrugated iron roof and sheeted timber door. North gable has a pair of square-headed window openings to the upper floor with timber casement windows. Setting: Set within its own grounds on the north side of Lurgan Road enclosed by hedgerow with short grave drive. The plot extends northwards along Lurgan Road.
