Description

This is a former stable block originally associated with Shannon House, now incorporated into the Hydebank Young Offenders Centre and in institutional use. While a castellated entrance screen and crest survive, the building is no longer considered to possess special architectural interest. It was surveyed during the First Survey but was not listed at that time. A partial survey was undertaken during the Second Survey, reflecting the building’s lack of sufficient interest to merit a full survey.
