Description
The buildings at 2-12 Main Street in Waterfoot comprise a detached two-storey dwelling (number 2), a public house (number 4), and a terrace of four dwellings (numbers 6-12). They are constructed with painted render and have fibre cement roofs, along with uPVC or timber casement windows. Lean-to porches are present at the front of numbers 10 and 12. During a second survey, a partial record of the terrace was taken, but the buildings were found to have been extensively modified, meaning they do not meet the criteria for formal listing. However, the terrace retains significant local interest. The buildings were originally used as houses, and are now residential.
