This is a modest, two-storey building located in Ballycastle, dating probably from the mid-19th century, with a shopfront dating from the 1960s. The building is three bays wide, accommodating a shopfront that extends across the full width of the front facade. The central doorway is recessed, flanked by large, single-pane shop windows. These windows are framed by fluted pilasters, above a full-length glass fascia with a thin frame; a cornice was likely present previously, perhaps supporting an awning. Above, at first floor level, are three sliding sash windows, each with two panes. The fascia has an ogee gutter, and the roof is covered in natural slate, with a single chimneystack. The glazed shop door features decorative scrollwork, inscribed with the shop name. The building was originally recorded in 1970 as a two-storey, two-bay rendered building with plain sashed windows and a modern shopfront. It is situated within a conservation area and now incorporates No. 8 Ann Street, which was previously individually recorded. The building was constructed sometime between 1820 and 1839 and is currently used as a shop within a terrace.
