This building is the sole surviving element of a former terrace of three Victorian houses, originally two bays wide and three storeys high. The houses were rendered, and the original terrace occupied numbers 30-34 Shaftsbury Square, Belfast. A modern shopfront has been inserted into the remaining house. The rest of the original terrace has been replaced by modern buildings. The building was initially surveyed in the First Survey but was not listed at that time. A partial record was taken during the Second Survey, as a full architectural survey was deemed unnecessary. The building was formerly used as a house within a terrace of houses and is currently in commercial use as a shop within a terrace. It is not a listed building.
