Description
This is a two-storey house located on Ballymagerny Road, Loughgall, Armagh. The building likely dates to around the 1830s, with additions made in the mid-19th century. It appears on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834. The building was surveyed during the First and Second Surveys of historic buildings, but was not considered of sufficient interest for a full Second Survey and remains unlisted. A partial survey was completed. The house’s original vernacular appearance has been completely lost due to extensive refurbishment in the mid to later 1970s. It was described as having been "modernised out of recognition" between the initial survey in 1972 and a subsequent visit in 1980.
