Description

This was a former three-storey commercial building dating from the mid-19th century, originally located in the centre of Banbridge. It was constructed of stucco and has now been replaced by a modern building. The building, circa 1860, had a slated roof and walls finished in lined stucco. Mouldings with floral ornament were present on the paired windows and doorway at ground floor level. The building was partly occupied as shops. A string course broke the first-floor fenestration, and a cill course was present at the second-floor level. It was originally five windows wide and appeared on an Ordnance Survey map of 1861. The first survey card documents a visit on 17th September 1969. The building is not listed, and has no Architectural or Historical interest. It was subject to a partial survey only.
