135 High Street, Holywood, County Down

The building at 135 High Street, Holywood, County Down, has been demolished and replaced by a modern sheltered housing complex. A First Survey card describes the original building as a single-story house with an attic and basement. It had a slated roof with rendered gable ends and rendered, lined, and painted walls. The street front featured two double-hung windows without astrays, with molded architraves, and a central doorway, also with a molded architrave and cornice. The doorway was topped by a margin-paned fanlight and had a decorated, glazed, and panelled door, covered by a gabled trellis. The condition was reported as poor, with a front frontage of approximately 35 feet. An outbuilding appeared on the right-hand side, as shown on an Ordnance Survey map of 1834. The survey was conducted on 7 June 1973. The listing record indicates no extent of listing, architectural interest, or historical interest, and notes that the survey was partial.
