Coill-Mara is a detached, two-storey, three-bay house of late-Victorian design, situated off Circular Road West on the edge of Holywood. While possessing a robust character and local significance, its construction date is relatively late, and it is not considered a prime example of its type. The original setting has been altered by the later construction of two modern detached houses on the same site, which share an access point. A partial survey of the property has been conducted.
