Description

Small single storey vernacular house, set on a slight rise to the S of the Hillsborough Road, c.1.5 miles SW of Comber. Front (E) facade has a right of centre plain timber sheeted door. To the left of the door are two sash windows with Georgian panes, with a similar window to the right of the door. Both gables are blank. Close to the centre of the rear facade is a small four pane window. The entire facade is finished in rough cast, some of which has flaked off. The gabled roof is covered in Bangor blue slates. Three unevenly spaced rendered chimney stacks. No rainwater goods. Water tank placed against rear facade (on breeze blocks). New modern replacement dwelling a short distance to SW. This house has been vacant for some years and is in poor condition.
