22-26 Church Street, Antrim, BT41 3AW

This was a terrace of three, two-storey houses, located at 22-26 Church Street, Antrim. Although the precise date of construction is unrecorded, they were likely built around the mid-19th century, potentially within the period of 1840 to 1859. The buildings were initially documented in a 1970 survey and were described as having modern roughcast walls and slated roofs, with brick chimneys. They featured double-hung sash windows within wide boxes, retaining their original glazing bars. Two of the front doors were topped by narrow, rectangular fanlights. The buildings had previously been restored. Although the buildings are no longer present, having been demolished, their site is within the Town Parks townland and lies within a conservation area. Buildings are indicated on Ordnance Survey maps from 1832 and 1857, although the exact date of their construction on that site cannot be determined from these sources.
