Description

This is a crane located on the quayside opposite Nos. 11 and 12 in Bridgwater. It was likely built in the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron with a wooden jib. The crane features a circular base that was once a turntable, along with a substantial frame, a shaft, vertical and horizontal cogwheels, chains, and a pulley.
