Description

The Gooden monument, located in the churchyard about 10 metres southeast of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary, is a headstone dedicated to William Gooden, dated 1705. It is made of dressed stone and features a low upright slab with incised lettering on the west side. The monument is adorned with relief carving on either side and has a shaped top that also includes carving.
