Description
Nos. 26-29 on Coombe Lane is a former mill, now converted into houses, dating from around 1700 and rebuilt and enlarged around 1850. The building features a rendered exterior with dressed quoins and a pantile roof, along with brick stacks and coped verges. It has an oblong shape and an industrial appearance, standing three stories tall with six bays. The windows are stone mullioned, with two- and three-light configurations in plain stone surrounds. The first and second bays on the ground floor have ovolo mouldings with angled labels above. There are four door openings, with square-headed stone surrounds for Nos. 26 and 27, the latter having an ovolo moulded surround, while Nos. 28 and 29 feature brick arched surrounds.
