Description

This is a chimney associated with a former paper mill, located at the rear of The Old Mill House. It probably dates to the late 18th century. The chimney is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern and is square in plan. It is a tall, tapering stack topped with a moulded cap. The paper mill was destroyed by fire in 1904. The chimney is listed primarily for its historical interest and its group value in relation to The Old Mill House.
