Description

This 18th-century building on the south side of Baxtergate is three storeys high and constructed of painted brick. It has a pantile roof, stone rusticated quoins, and a stone band between the second and third floors. There are three windows on the upper floors, each with a flat brick arch above, a keystone, flush frames, and double-hung sashes lacking glazing bars. A modern shop front occupies the ground floor. The building is listed at Grade II for group value.
