Description

The barns at North Farm, dating from the 18th century, are constructed from limestone rubble with a pantile roof. The structure includes a two-bay storage barn on the left and a taller four-bay threshing barn on the right. The storage barn features a 20th-century sliding door set beneath a massive timber lintel, with an earlier opening above it, flanked by square air vents. The threshing barn has tall double-leaf doors beneath a massive timber lintel, also flanked by rectangular vents. The rear entrance of the threshing barn has been blocked. Inside, the barns have a collar and tie-beam roof.
