Description

Cherrygarth Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a 19th-century extension. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone and features a pantile roof. The building has a central entrance with a half-glazed door that is set beneath a divided overlight and is flanked by late 19th-century canted bay windows. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. On the first floor, there are plate-glass sash windows that sit beneath channelled wedge lintels. The gable ends have coping and shaped kneelers, with stacks at the ends.
