Description

No. 76 on North Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a wooden eaves cornice with modillions. The façade has three bays, with sash windows that have channelled stucco voussoirs. The ground floor includes an elaborate shopfront with contemporary joinery and one slightly wider sash window that has a moulded wooden frame. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels set in deep reveals, framed with moulding, and topped with a dentilled pediment supported by scrolled reeded consoles.
