Description

The gateway to St Trinian's Hall consists of gate piers and gates, likely built in the second half of the 18th century. It features two quadrilobate Gothick piers made of ashlar, standing on moulded bases and topped with pointed caps. The wrought-iron gates are not original and may date from the 19th century, but they are appropriate for the style. It is possible that the gate piers have been relocated, as the original entrance was from the south.
