Description

The Oak Tree Inn is a public house dated 1733, featuring a rendered exterior and a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical façade with two sets of two first-floor windows. On the left side, the ground floor includes a 4-light casement window and a 20th-century panel door, while the first floor has side-sliding sash windows. There are shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, and a brick end stack on the left. The right side has a 4-light and a 2-light casement window on the ground floor, and a 4-light casement window alongside a side-sliding sash on the first floor. It also features shaped kneelers and ashlar coping on the left, with brick end stacks. The date is carved on the left-hand side of the middle kneeler. Inside, the inn has chamfered beams with ogee chamfer-stops.
