Description

This is a pair of gate piers located approximately 80 metres north of Park House, dating from the 18th century. They are made of ashlar stone and are square in section, standing at an overall height of about 3.5 metres. The piers feature rusticated ashlar with a plain entablature, a deep moulded cornice, and a capstone topped with a ball finial. The inner faces have projecting buttresses with scrolled tops. There is a 20th-century farm gate and flanking walls. Although the drive no longer leads to Park House, it is now used by a mid-20th century bungalow.
