Description

Castle Terrace comprises two early 19th-century buildings, numbers 1 and 2, on the south side. Number 1 is roughcast and has two windows with stone surrounds, each a six-light design incorporating a wood transom and mullions. It has a stone slate roof. A modern rectangular bay window has been added to the old carriage opening on the ground floor and another to the left. A modern door is set within an architrave featuring plain pilasters, topped by a modern hood supported by brackets. Number 2 is rough-rendered with a plinth. It features a single window on each storey, lacking glazing bars. A modern door is present. Numbers 1 to 5 together form a noteworthy group.
