Description
Natland Hall is a 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations and additions. It's constructed of rough stone rubble with a plinth, topped with a graduated greenslate roof and a stone ridge. A substantial chimney stack with three diagonally-set shafts dominates the structure, along with a smaller end chimney stack on the south gable. A wing projects slightly to the left. The building is two storeys high, plus attics, and has six windows, plus one blocked doorway. The upper floor features late 19th-century sash windows with vertical glazing bars. There are three similar windows on the ground floor, alongside a window with paired late 19th-century sashes to the right. A blocked window is located in the wing to the left. The entrance features a late 19th-century four-panelled door sheltered by an open timber slated canopy. Though the interior was not inspected, it is reported to contain an oak staircase with turned balusters and square newels, a panelled screen, and oak doors.
