Description

This is a row of early Georgian houses dated circa 1730/40. Numbers 1A, 1 to 4 and 4A, Cross Street, form a group. The facades are stuccoed or stone-faced. Numbers 4 and 4A have twin doorways sharing a common cornice and twin pediments. Above the first floor is a cornice, and above that a parapet. The upper floor of numbers 4 and 4A has two sash windows. The remaining houses are three-storied. Number 3 features a moulded doorway with a good fanlight, fluted pilasters, and a broken pediment, approached by four steps with iron railings. Number 3 has four sash windows. Numbers 1 to 12, consecutively numbered, form a group.
