Description
Anthorn House is a farmhouse dated 1746, featuring the initials T. & M.D. above the entrance. It is constructed of whitewashed brick set on a chamfered plinth, with V-jointed quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has coped gables with kneelers, along with brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays, with a single-bay extension to the left that shares the common roof line. The extension includes a 20th-century door framed by a painted stone architrave, which has a dated and inscribed entablature. The windows are 2-pane sashes also set in painted stone architraves. There is a brick outbuilding to the right, but it is not of interest.
