Description

Nos. 19 and 20 Roper Street date to the 18th century. They are three-storey buildings, stuccoed throughout. No. 19 has a gable end facing Roper Street, with a panelled front door. Both properties originally featured a double-fronted shop window with small panes, flanked by Doric pilasters, a decorative frieze, and a cornice. An entrance to the living quarters is situated above the shop window. The upper floors contain three three-light windows each. Nos. 19 to 25 form a group.
