Description

Nos 7 to 17 on Lowther Street are 19th-century buildings designed in a Georgian style. They are three storeys high and have a stucco finish, featuring sash windows, although most of the glazing bars have been removed. Number 9 includes moulded architraves, while number 10 is distinguished by cornices on ornamented brackets and a top cornice on brackets. Number 7 serves as the two-bay return side of the Union Hall building located on Scotch Street. The ground floors of these properties are occupied by shops. Nos 7 to 17 form a group with the Union Hall on Scotch Street.
