Description

Nos 4 and 5 on Irish Street date from 1814 and are located on the north side. These three-storey buildings are constructed in roughcast with a slate roof. They feature doors with round-arched traceried fanlights, plain architraves that include keystones and imposts. There are three sash windows on the ground floor and five on the upper floors, all set in cement frames. To the right, between Nos 5 and 7, there is a round-arched entry leading to a yard. Nos 4, 5, and 7 are part of a group that includes Nos 17 and 18 Howgill Street.
