Description

Nos 14 and 15 Howgill Street, built in 1736, were originally designed as Assembly Rooms in the "piano nobile" style. The building has two storeys and a basement, featuring a central doorway flanked by Tuscan half-columns, topped with a cornice and pediment. There are four windows on each floor, and a double curving staircase leads up to the entrance.
