Description

Rose Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the early 18th century with 19th-century alterations. It features pebble-dashed walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof and has been fitted with rebuilt roughcast chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. A 20th-century door is set within an 18th-century painted stone surround. The windows are a mix of casement and sash types, with painted surrounds from the 19th and 20th centuries. In the mid-20th century, it was used as a Post Office. The farmhouse is listed for its group value with Dean Mains.
