Description

35 Queen Street is a building dating from 1814, located on the northwest side of Queen Street. It is an early 18th-century structure featuring scored stucco with rusticated quoins and three high storeys. The gable end facing Queen Street has an impressive entrance accessed by five steps, which includes a panelled door and panelled reveals within a deep shell doorcase that has a round arch, keystone, Tuscan pilasters, and flanking Gothic traceried lights. Each upper floor has one small window. The Duke Street facade displays three sash windows on each floor, along with a boarded door at the basement level.
