Description

Knockupworth Hall is a late 18th-century house. It is constructed of painted stucco over a chamfered, painted plinth, with raised V-jointed quoins, and has a graduated greenslate roof and rendered end chimney stacks. The main block is two storeys and three bays, with a two-storey, one-bay extension to the left, set under a lower roof line. The front features a six-panel door within a moulded, shouldered architrave, approached by a prostyle Roman Doric porch. Flanking the door are double-sash windows, and above the entrance is a sash window with glazing bars, all contained within moulded stone surrounds. The extension has sash windows with glazing bars.
