Description

This is a mid-19th century building on The Green, Hardingstone. It is constructed with red stretchers and pink headers in a Flemish bond brick pattern, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The two storeys feature two sash windows with glazing bars, each set beneath a cambered relieving arch. A four-panelled door is centrally positioned, above a rectangular fanlight, and all are contained within a surround of slim Doric pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The building is included on the heritage register for its contribution to the group value of numbers 1 to 9, which comprise the odd-numbered properties on The Green.
