Description

No. 2 Back Lane is an 18th-century house constructed of coursed yellow stone. It has a tiled roof with three dormers, each containing two casement windows. The roof features a stone cornice moulding, flanking chimney stacks, and stone coped gables set on kneelers. The house is two storeys high with attics, and it has three sash windows each arranged beneath keyblocks. The central entrance has a six-panelled door and a three-pane rectangular fanlight within a reveal and surround of pilasters, a panelled frieze, and a hood. The interior is not described in detail.
