Description

76 and 78 High Street are a late 18th or early 19th century building. Constructed of coursed brown stone with a tiled roof (formerly slated), the building is three storeys high. It has two sash windows with glazing bars, each set under a wooden lintel. The left-hand side of the building features a six-panelled door set within a panelled reveal and surrounded by reeded details, a frieze, and a hood supported by iron brackets. A doorway has been blocked on the right-hand side. 76 and 78 High Street form a group with 1 and 3 Coldstream Lane.
