Description
The Wooden Walls of Old England Public House is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ironstone dressings and features flush quoins. The thatched roof has stone copings on the kneelers at the side gables. The building is two storeys high, with chimney stacks located at either end and south of the centre. On the first floor, there are five double light casement windows, while the ground floor has four large sliding casement windows and two doorways. An inn sign is positioned above the left door and was formerly mounted on a wrought iron bracket. To the right, there is a single-storey stone outbuilding with a corrugated iron roof. The public house is part of a group that includes Nos 19 to 27 (odd).
