Description

The Gables is a 17th or 18th century building, altered over time. It is constructed of coursed rubble with flush ironstone bands at sill levels, and has an old tiled roof with stone coped gables. The building is two storeys and attics, and has ironstone flush quoins. It is arranged in an L-shaped plan. The north front features a projecting gable on the left-hand side, containing a single light attic window with leaded glazing. There is a similar two-light window to the first floor, and a three-light window to the ground floor. The east front has a pair of similar two-light casement windows to the first floor, and a three-light window to the ground floor.
