Description

The stables at Kingsthorpe Hall were built around 1775 by John Johnson of Leicester. Constructed from ashlar stone with a stone slated roof, the building has two storeys and features a projecting pedimented center. The first floor has a layout of two, three, and two sash windows with glazing bars, all set under stone lintels. On the ground floor, there are three central arches, with a wide modern door on the left and a window and modern door on the right. Kingsthorpe Hall and the stables are recognized as a group.
