Description

These buildings at 33 to 45 St Giles' Street form a group and date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed in stucco with Welsh slate roofs featuring modillioned cornices. The buildings are three storeys high and have horizontal floor bands. Each building has two sash windows on each floor. The second-floor windows have architrave surrounds, and their sills rest on console brackets. The first-floor windows are framed by eared architraves, pulvinated friezes, and cornices. The shop fronts are also from the 19th century, adorned with Corinthian pilasters and arcaded lights, particularly noticeable at numbers 33 to 37. A more modern shop window is present at number 39.
