Description

4 and 6 Queen Street is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble, topped with a slate roof. It features a coped gable and a ridge stack with an arch stone shaft on a brick base, and has its gable end facing the street. The building is two storeys high and has quoins. The gable end displays a three-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned window on both the ground and first floors. The right flank of the house has a three-window range, which includes a 20th-century door and irregularly placed casement windows, all featuring stone and wooden lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
