Description
Stockgrove Park lower garden terrace, pool, and pergolas are garden features designed between 1929 and 1938 by W Curtis Green for F M Kroyer-Kielberg. The terrace is made of limestone, brick, and timber. It features a stone-paved walkway that includes a series of three pergolas with a curved wooden structure supported by square brick piers topped with moulded stone caps. There are low dry stone retaining walls along the terrace walkway and terrace gardens, which are connected by stone steps. A rectangular formal pool is situated within the terrace, surrounded by paving and featuring a low round-arched niche at one end with a fountain-head.
