Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century, located on Rotten Row in Great Brickhill. The walls are whitewashed roughcast over a timber frame, with a greensand plinth. It has a thatched roof and a rendered central chimney. The cottage is one and a half storeys and two bays wide. There are paired leaded casement windows in the left bay, and a first-floor window on the right. The upper windows are within the thatched roof and have diamond leading; the right-hand window has a single light with missing leading. A central lobby entry has a board door within a trellis porch. 19th-century extensions have been added to the right, and a small 20th-century extension with a flat roof is at the rear.
