Description
Chabot is a 17th century, three-bay, two-storey timber-framed house located on Beaumond End Lane in Little Missenden. The house was refronted in brick in 1749, as indicated by a plaque situated between the first-floor windows on the right, which reads 'Edward Clarke 1749'. It features an old tiled roof and has three three-light leaded casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor has three-light windows in the outer bays, with an off-centre door and a two-light casement window to the left and one to the right. There is an additional door in the left bay and a lean-to porch. The left side has a lean-to and gable stack, while the rear of the middle bay has a 17th-century brick stack, and timber framing is exposed at the rear.
