Description

Taverners is a timber-framed building dating back to 1602, with alterations made in the late 18th century and a right-hand wing added in 1951. The older part of the building is constructed of brown red brick with a tile roof and extends two storeys. It features two double-hung sashes, with glazing bars, set under the eaves. The ground floor has a central, modern entrance porch and two double-hung sashes, each with a cambered brick relieving arch above. The more recent right-hand wing is two storeys high and gabled, adjoining the original cottage.
