Description

This is a 17th-century building and likely incorporating earlier fabric, situated on the south-east side of High Street in Long Crendon. The building is two storeys high and originally constructed with a timber frame filled with brick. The first floor now has modern weatherboarding. The roof is covered with concrete plain tiles. The front elevation features a doorway on the right-hand side and a two-light casement window to the left. There are also two small windows in the upper floor. The interior contains curved timbers within the roof trusses on both sides, with remnants of cruck frames. One cruck frame is visible in the party wall that connects to number 98. The other cruck frame is partly hidden by a large chimney stack.
